School Supplies (school-provided / $45 fee model)
2026–27 school year“We no longer send out traditional school supply lists. Instead, families contribute $45 per student through the BSD Online Payment System. There is a small convenience fee added to all online payments made with a credit or debit card via the district's online portal. [ $0.40 per transaction; Plus 3.69% of the total amount ] This fee helps cover processing costs and only applies to credit card payments. You're also welcome to pay by exact cash or check at our office to avoid online fees. Office will be able to take check/cash until 06/16/26 and then again after 08/03/26. This change allows us to purchase supplies in bulk—saving money and ensuring every student has exactly what they need. The only things your child will need to bring from home are the following: [School-sized backpack; Water bottle; Headphones]. We understand that not all families may be able to contribute. Please know that every student will receive the same high-quality supplies, regardless of ability to pay. If you're in a position to help others, you can make an additional donation by clicking the “Donations” tab on your child's grade-level page. Why This Change Is a Win for Everyone: Saves money through bulk purchasing; More affordable than past supply lists (which could cost up to $120!); Equal access to the same high-quality materials; Teacher-selected supplies tailored to classroom needs; Less waste and more reuse year to year; No more shopping stress or confusion; Promotes equity—no visible differences in what students bring.
